ENGLAND - Sheffield - Bishop's House

Not exactly typical of Sheffield's buildings..... but hey, who cares!

Built in 1554 and originally a yeoman’s house, Bishops’s House is Sheffield’s best preserved timber framed building. Located in Meersbrook Park and owned by Sheffield City Council, it now operates as a museum and events space. It is a popular location for school trips and is one of the City’s most unique wedding venues!

One of (maybe the) oldest pub in Sheffield.... my home town

The Old Queen’s Head pub is 15th Century timber framed building on Pond Hill in Sheffield. This painting shows Park Hill in the background (before the new buildings went up!).

Did this one for a farmer in return for a favour during the last recession. Can you spot the tippex? He hung it on the wall upside-down (to match his freshly plucked Christmas turkeys!)
