Sheffield

- from 2011, but topical!

The Protest March by the people of Sheffield ending up at Barkers Pool in the centre of the City. It took a catastrophe for the NHS to be appreciated and applauded! I wonder how long the appreciation will last? Fellow Welshman Aneurin Bevan might not be turning as much as he has been over the last 10 years!!

- 3 (of 14) new paintings

3 of the new paintings in the enlarged, paperbacked version of my book. Been meaning to do Sheffield City Hall for some time!

NEW REVISED PAPERBACK EDITION: OUT NOW

This new, paperback edition, is a revised pressing based on last years successful hardback book; with an additional 14 new, previously unpublished, paintings.

This beautiful book will make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves architecture, art and the City of Sheffield, the Peak District and trips to the Yorkshire coast.

Over the years, Bryn had often been asked if he had a book; in response, he published his first one in the autumn of 2018. It was a special, limited edition, hardback book with only 300 copies printed, hand-numbered and signed. It was a great success selling out just after Christmas 2019.

Based on the popularity of his first book, we are now pleased to announce Bryn has just published a revised, paperback, edition. You can buy it exclusively online from this website (BUY NOW), to avoid disappoint order your copy today.

- my artwork at the Leopold Hotel

Popped into the Leopold Hotel in Sheffield yesterday. Two of my original paintings of the Hotel are now hanging in the main lounge/bar, images of my work are on the drinks & food menu and various items around the Hotel. Thanks to Frederic the manager.

- my list of paintings for the "Ten Artists Exhibition"

Here is the list of my paintings for the "Ten Artists Exhibition" at Baslow Village Hall tomorrow and Sunday. The weather forecast is good for tomorrow and not bad on Sunday - come and see us, the other 9 Artists are much better than me.

- 10 paintings

Ready! My 10 paintings for the "Ten Artists Exhibition" at Baslow Village Hall this coming weekend. Just have to get together all the prints and cards I've produced.... then relax (until Saturday)

- a view from my studio/workroom rooflight

This is my painting of a view to the north east from my studio/workroom rooflight in Ringinglow Village with a smidgen of artistic license - a doctored version again to protect the innocent! The pristine version of this painting will be at the "10 Artists Exhibition" (and 10 paintings by each artist) at Baslow Village Hall on Saturday & Sunday 22nd & 23rd October. This is my 10th and final painting for the Exhibition. It's Mayfield Valley in south west of our great city of Sheffield. The building in the centre of the painting covered with red Virginia creeper is Fulwood Hall.

- 432 cards to Sheffield Millennium Gallery Shop

Spent most of the last 4 days printing, folding and packing cards into envelopes & into poly bags. I'm not complaining It's the 4th repeat order since my first order in January for another 432 cards for the Millennium Gallery Shop in Sheffield. It's next to the BBC TV "outside" studio for the World Snooker Championship 2016 in the Winter Garden. There are 216 cards in the attached photo - I delivered a previous 216 package on Thursday! Perhaps I can get back to actually painting tomorrow? Hopefully a little acrylic?

- a bit of business.... then RELAX!

Posted the first 100 prints (of 500) to ARTiMANS in Soller Mallorca this morning, called into the Millenium Gallery Shop and discovered my Sheffield Prints and Cards are now on display... nice sunny day, some free time - went on a short cicular walk from home, down into Porter Brook Valley, up through the beech woods, along Fulwood Lane, looked down on Sheffield City 5 miles below, past the Alpaca Farm and back to the Village - Home Sweet Home!
